CL Yachts gives the life aquatic a serious upgrade.
Guests aboard the CLA76 from CL Yachts
At the Miami Yacht Show earlier this year, 130-year-old shipbuilder Cheoy Lee Shipyards Limited announced the debut of its new luxury yacht brand, CL Yachts, and its new showroom in South Florida, and promised unforeseen luxury merged with powerful performance.
Doubters were silenced the moment they laid eyes on the CLB72 with its large windows and open layout, and even more astonished at the sight of the vessel’s cabins with en suite bathrooms and walk-in wardrobes. But then they saw the technological treats, like its retractable sunroof and transom lift-powered beach platform, and they knew this newcomer was destined to live up to the hype.
“There are many boats in the market nowadays that have a focus on sheer interior volume at the expense of seaworthiness. The CLB72 is not such a boat,” explains CL Yachts’ project manager, Hans Lo. “We are able to combine the best aspects of tradition and modernity all in one package.”
CL Yachts also introduced the CLA76, a flybridge express yacht with striking interior design, posh cabins and even an outdoor grill and ice maker. Next year, the CLB88 is expected to join the party, with its large hull, multiple rooms (including a king-sized bedroom), fully equipped kitchen and more. Battening down the hatches has never been so appealing. 2955 W. State Road 84, Fort Lauderdale, 954.527.0999, clyachts.com
