Miami’s magnetic hot spot, The Salty Donut, known for its wide variety of mouthwatering treats, is moving from its beloved Wynwood location after nearly seven years to open a larger flagship store.

Andy Rodriguez, the CEO and co-founder, shared that this new location will allow the team to amplify production capabilities and efficiency for crafting the delectable goods.
“The new store is going to be epic,” he notes. “It will feature on-site production, state-of-the-art equipment, a ton more interior seating, and greater production capabilities and efficiencies for our team, resulting in even fresher donuts and a stunning space for guests to hang out and work.”
The new 2,700-square-foot dessert destination will feature exciting additions such as its largest kitchen to date and a private room reserved for meetings and special events with catering offerings from the store. A sizeable window into the kitchen will offer guests a behind-the-scenes look at The Salty’s immensely talented baking team. There will also be a proper pick-up window delegated for app orders, and a sleek grab-and-go fridge will allow for expanded takeout drink offerings.

The family-owned company, which began as a weekend-only pop-up out of a vintage camper, now has eight locations throughout Florida, North Carolina, and Texas, with six more slated to open this year in Atlanta, Tampa, and Coconut Grove. Receiving numerous accolades and praise, including being touted as one of the “best doughnut shops in America,” evident by the daily long lines.
Throughout its impressive growth and expansion, The Salty team continues to emphasize that it never forgot where its success began.
“Wynwood was our first Salty store,” Rodriguez exclaims. “It is the smallest of our shops and the only one that operates with an off-site commissary. So when the opportunity arose to revamp Wynwood and build a true flagship in Miami, we jumped at the chance.”
Expected to open in summer 2023, customers will soon be able to enjoy the donuts they know and love at The Salty’s new Wynwood flagship location.
