Paying homage to the father of surrealism, Surreal 360: A Dalí Experience is an all-new immersive exhibit in Downtown Miami that allows guests to experience the classic works of Salvador Dalí in an entirely different way.
Known for his admiration for Renaissance art and dreamlike works, Dalí’s artwork arrives at the Ice Palace Studios, changing the landscape of a traditional art gallery through its own technological renaissance. Featuring more than 200 original pieces from the Spanish artist, the exhibit showcases multiple virtual mediums for viewers to find themselves in Dalí’s transcendental works.
Before entering the hypnotic space, guests can download a free app to their cellular device, using augmented reality while viewing specific pieces. Guests can also participate in multi-sensory sculpting, virtual reality in the surreal painting room, and dining at the Epicurean Theme Terrace for a complete Spanish culinary experience. Under the guidance of art curator Ignacio Shanahan, the collection brings together everything from lithographs, engravings, sculptures, silverware, and medals, as well as a series of photographs taken by Enrique Sabater, Dalí’s secretary and trusted companion, to explore the life and legacy of the man himself.
Art lovers of any age are invited to learn and marvel at the fascinating takes of Dalí’s work, with many noteworthy guests like Real Housewives Adriana De Moura and Kiki Barth and Family Karma’s Avni Parekh having already attended.
Tickets are available for purchase until June 2023, making the walkthrough experience a perfect spring escapade before the start of the summer. Ice Palace Studio West Building 71 NW 14th St., Miami / Website
