Just off the cusp of announcing new Executive Chef, Brian Nasajon and following the buzz around the brands expansion into Coral Gables, SUSHISAMBA continues to fuel the excitement by venturing over the bridge to Midtown Miami to launch a six-day pop-up concept during Miami’s iconic Art Basel Miami Beach. Satisfying the cravings of the local’s, SAMBAPOP is located next to its sister restaurant, SUGARCANE raw bar grill.
An abbreviated menu includes many SUSHISAMBA favorites as well as new items that pay homage to the brands dedication to ingredients, culinary progression and international diversity. Lincoln Road loyals and the artistic jet-set will have a chance to enjoy items like Duck Anticuchos with peach white soy ($12) and the Baura Sandwich served SAMBA-style ($16). Additional selections include raw fish selections - tiraditos, seviche, sushi and sashimi - as well as bento boxes, small plates and of course, SAMBA Rolls.
Guests taking a break from “Basel-ing” will be treated to mixology favorites like the Nina Fresa®, Classic Caipirinha, Classic Mojito and Chu-Cumber ($8). Additionally, a full service bar of sakes ($8-$24), wines ($9-$11) and beers ($8) will be available.
Pastry Chef, Jill Montinola finishes the experience with housemade desserts of Mochi, Warm Chocolate Banana Cake and her signature Catupiry Cheesecake, all for $10.
