“As a consumer, I wasn’t satisfied with the options out there when it came to facials,” she says, “so I decided to reformulate the entire experience from A to Z.”
Focusing on clean beauty, Sana (Spanish for heal) is about upgrading the skincare experience through facials such as the SuperGlow, a 70-minute treatment that contours, lifts and brightens the face with touch therapy and products from brands like Pai and Supernal. Said procedures are enhanced by a variety of add-ons, including microcurrent (to stimulate and energize facial muscles), extra-thorough extractions, AHA or enzyme peels (chemical exfoliations using natural acids to do away with dullness), the gua sha lymphatic massage (with rose quartz to sculpt the skin) and LED therapy (a 15-minute session with guided meditation to calm inflammation and breakouts, reduce fine lines and promote circulation).
“Our facials are goal-driven and effective,” says Hernandez. “I want people to feel supported during their skin journey and provide the best curation of clean beauty in a fun and effortless manner.” 167 NW 25th St., Miami, 305.707.5176, sanaskinstudio.com
