Set to open any day now, Sexy Fish swims into town with an unrivaled menu full of vibrant dishes.
The American counterpart to restaurateur Richard Caring’s London hot spot, Sexy Fish Miami (slated to open this fall) is out to to impress. The venue’s literature uses words like “glamorous” and “opulent” to describe the restaurant’s design by Martin Brudnizki, one of a who’s-who of creatives involved in the project; others include artist Damien Hirst (from whom 10 artworks were procured) and starchitect Frank Gehry, who contributed an installation to the property that consists of 26 fish lamps. Of course, the bar program and menu overseen by chef director Bjoern Weissberg leave nothing to chance. Sexy Fish Miami will serve signature cocktails like the Pornstar and Faith in Paloma, as well as Opus One wines and the largest Dom Pérignon selection in the country. As for dinner? Duck salad, vegetarian sushi, smoked tuna belly, black cod, king crab and what’s apparently a killer cheesecake for dessert. 1001 S. Miami Ave., Miami, sexyfishmiami.com
