Smoke & Mirrors Gala and Crash the Bash Afterparty

| October 1, 2013 | Calendar

As a kick off to the new season, Florida Grand Opera (FGO) will host the "Smoke & Mirrors" ball and the "Crash the Bash" after party. "Smoke & Mirrors" kicks off the night as a black tie celebration honoring the lifetime achievements of international opera star Deborah Voigt. Hosted by event chairs Gloria Portal and Isa Leibowitz, this lavish affair takes over the historic Alfred I. DuPont Building on October 26, 2013.

The event will feature a seated, four-course dinner, dancing and performances by members of FGO’s Young Artist Program, culminating in Ms. Deborah Voigt’s acceptance of an award honoring a lifetime of artistic accomplishments. The ball will be followed by “Crash the Bash,” Florida Grand Opera’s first-ever after party. Led by the company’s young professionals group, Crescendo Circle, the happening merges the world of opera with upbeat sounds that will keep guests going all night.

Reservations for individual seating at the gala begin at $500 per person and $75 for the afterparty. Reservations are subject to availability. To reserve tables or individual tickets, please contact Amy Funk at (305) 854-1643 or afunk@fgo.org. For more information, visit www.fgo.org.
