Spice Things Up With Tequila & Tamales at Devon Seafood + Steak

Things are heating up at Devon Seafood + Steak, Miami’s boutique seafood and steakhouse, with a “muy caliente” evening of Tequila & Tamales.

On Tuesday, August 20, 2013, from 7 – 9 p.m., the chic restaurant will host a special evening on its beautiful outdoor patio featuring high-end tequilas paired with not-so-traditional tamales. For just $30 per person – excluding tax and gratuity – guests will enjoy a four-course, Mexican-themed pairing dinner, crafted by executive chef Scott Barrow.

First course
Crab and Goat Cheese Tamale with guava and sweet pepper salsa
Green Viper – Partida Blanco, cucumber, Grand Marnier, lime, agave nectar

Second Course
Summer Squash Tamale – assorted squash, plantains, fried spaghetti squash threads, black Huitlacoche masa
Partida Reposado Margarita with tamarind and cinnamon

Third Course
Smoked Duck Tamale – Pipian Verde (tomatillo & pumpkin seeds), Cojita cheese, Crema and microgreens
Cuervo La Familia on the rocks

Fourth Course
Mango Tamale – mango, cinnamon, brown sugar, orange liqueur
Blackberry Margarita Jell-O Shot – Jose Cuervo Platino

Devon Seafood + Steak has launched a monthly tasting series at the restaurant. Once a month, and for a prix-fixe price, the restaurant will host a different themed event showcasing a variety of menu offerings paired with unique libations.
