Talk about a standing ovation. Grammy-winning violinist Joshua Bell joined the National YoungArts Foundation to launch the first annual YoungArts Awareness Day (a celebration of young artists around the country seeking a professional career in the arts) with a salon that included a performance by the musician as well as a talk moderated by Elizabeth Sobol, president and CEO of Decca Label Group. As expected, the tone of the gathering was cultural with folks like philanthropist Sarah Arison, Miami City Ballet Artistic Director Lourdes Lopez, gallerist Ashley Turchin and City of Bal Harbour Tourism Marketing Director Carolyn Travis in attendance and all too willing to enjoy the classical tunes... and Champagne. –Photos by Jason Koerner
