Friends of New World Symphony presents a sizzling evening of interactive music and dancing with TANGO MUSIC Unplugged, a Friends Chamber Salon. Chamber music, because of its intimate nature, has historically been described as "the music of friends." The evening will be reminiscent of an authentic Argentine Jazz Club where NWS Fellows will perform selections from Astor Piazolla’s classics, amongst other timeless pieces. Monica Llobet, a world renowned professional Argentine Tango dancer, will lead dance lessons showcasing the beauty of this art form. Special guests also include Florida Grand Opera Soprano, Catalina Cuervo, who will perform select pieces with the NWS Fellows.

Cocktails will be provided courtesy of GREY GOOSE Vodka with light fare served by Kork Restaurant. The evening is sponsored in part by Perry Ellis, a proud supporter of the thriving arts scene in South Florida and Wells Fargo, Chad Turner, Financial Advisor and proud supporter of NWS.

Free admission to Friends of NWS members. Non-members $20 single tickets. For individual event tickets contact the NWS box office at 305-673-3331. For Friends of NWS membership information contact Nathalie Cadet-James at Nathalie.Cadet-James@nws.edu
