The Bride Wore… Everything!

| November 21, 2012 | Parties

In the 10 years since Camille Thiry Russler opened Ever After, her couture bridal boutique in Coconut Grove, she has outfitted thousands of women for their big day. So it was only appropriate that the party marking her decade anniversary would be as over-the-top as some of the creations in her studio. The hallmark of the evening at The Cruz Building was an exhibition of 50 gowns worn by actual Ever After clients over the last 10 years. At one point, Russler invited all 50 of the women whose dresses were on display to join her on the Cruz’s regal stairway (and yes, all 50 were in attendance, including Adrienne Bosh and Maile Gamez) as she addressed the well-dressed crowd. With congratulations out of the way, guests moved to the upper floor of the venue for a lavish buffet, live performances and, like in any great wedding, lots of dancing late into the night. Of course, no matrimonial ceremony is complete without a cake, and in Ever After’s case it was a six-tier fantasia of fondant and sugar created by Ana Paz. And, rest assured, it was eaten!
