Now, in celebration of its 20th anniversary, the resort will debut the final addition of a comprehensive transformation, reflective of the destination and capturing the pioneering spirit of the American West.
Drawing inspiration from the mountains and the earth, our final refurbishments will debut elevated room and suite interiors, evoking a natural feel that brings the organic elements of the mountains indoors. The Club Lounge and The Great Room will follow suit this fall with a refreshed luxe overhaul that incorporates organic textures and earthy tones, in addition to its mountain modern design.
Our multi-million dollar renovation began with the opening of Sakaba, a premier sushi lounge rooted in Japanese tradition providing a sophisticated dining experience to our guests. Our enhanced Mountain View Terrace is the heart of our outdoor experience. Our enhanced outdoor terraces including Fireside Bar, Wyld Terrace and Bar, and Bufffalos Terrace and Bar redefine the après experience allowing for seamless movement between our resort and the mountain.
The Ritz-Carlton, Bachelor Gulch reopened its doors July 1, 2022 and is thrilled to welcome guests back to create once in a lifetime memories at the resort. From mountain biking to golfing, the resort offers an exciting array of activities that can be tailored to create your perfect stay.
Guests are invited to start their day with one of the resort’s daily guided hikes. Guided by the resort’s naturalist and the resort’s St. Bernard Bachelor, guests are guided through the Rocky Mountains while learning about the local area and the mountains. Guests can choose to accompany the resort naturalist on more curated hikes including a foraging hike or learning basic survival skills.
For those looking for rest and rejuvenation the resort spa is the perfect place to unwind and enjoy mountain views. The resort’s 21,000 square feet retreat offers signature treatments incorporating locally sourced herbs, plants, and minerals including activated charcoal sourced in Colorado’s mines. Unwind in one of the spa’s relaxation lounges, steam rooms, or take a dip in the plunge pool.
For a unique dining experience the resort’s culinary team is launching an Earth to Table dinner series, a vegetable driven menu highlighting Colorado’s best produce. Guests can enjoy this intimate dinner series of curated menu items on the resort’s Mountainside Terrace while watching the sunset beyond the mountains.
