Prime location? Check! Superior design? Of course. Five-star amenities? Too many to mention. The sky’s the limit at the new Turnberry Ocean Club Residences.
Right between Aventura and Bal Harbour, in Sunny Isles, on a stretch of pristine beachfront sits Fontainebleau Development’s latest accomplishment, an all-glass beauty dubbed Turnberry Ocean Club Residences, a tower destined for address greatness. What else would you expect from the company that has given cities all over the country some of its most coveted condo developments? To say nothing of FD’s accomplishments in commercial realty, hospitality, aviation and health and wellness.
Set to open later this year, the property was designed by renowned architects Carlos Zapata and Robert Swedroe and rises 54 stories housing 154 residences with panoramic ocean views of the Atlantic and Biscayne Bay, cantilevered pools, and 70,000 square feet of five-star resort amenities. The tallest tower the developer has ever built, each of the building’s flow-through residences feature 10- to 12-foot ceilings, ample (40 feet wide) sunset/sunrise balconies, Gaggenau appliances, Snaidero cabinetry, Dornbracht fixtures and interior design by Jan Clausen.
“Typically most developers have to choose between shared amenity space or larger units, [but] today we celebrate bringing both space and privacy to the market without sacrificing living square footage or limiting amenity areas,” says Jim Cohen, president of residential for Fontainebleau Development. “In fact, we’ve doubled the average [and have] created sky mansions for growing families.”
Residences, which start in the high $3 million range, come with access to the Fontainebleau Aviation Facility, Turnberry Isle Marina and a one-year membership at Turnberry Isle Country Club. As for amenities? Everything you would expect all those zeros to buy: 24/7 valet and security personnel, private beach amenities and the Sky Club on floors 30 to 32. This perch boasts sunrise and sunset swimming pools, two hydrotherapy spas, indoor and open-air gym, a yoga and Pilates studio, a nail and blow-dry bar, a spa with relaxation lounge and three treatment rooms, spacious indoor and outdoor dining areas with a catering kitchen, a sunset lounge and a bar. Also included are no-nonsense concierge services that cover everything from private air transportation to premium show tickets for sporting events and concerts, pet care and event and party planning services.
“Our staff will be trained to know every resident by name, and no detail or request will be too small,” says Michael Gilbert, Fontainebleau Development’s senior VP, who’s been instrumental in shaping the golden Turnberry service for more than 20 years. “Our mission is to ensure buyers have the best of everything.”
With a team trained to know residents’ favorite cuisines and even their desired room temperatures at home, it sounds like a mission accomplished. Sales center: 18501 Collins Ave., Sunny Isles Beach, 305.933.3000, turnberryoceanclub.com
