The celebrated chef, whose name is synonymous with quality, talent and high standards, is now reimagining classic French bistro cuisine. In the heart of a thriving culinary scene in the historic Coral Gables neighborhood, Thomas Keller emphasizes the diner experience with an impeccable menu, wine list and service.
With long-standing roots in Florida, Keller has returned home to instill tradition in his newest restaurant opening.
“I feel extremely grateful for the opportunity to continue to grow the Bouchon Bistro concept. It was born out of the need to create the perfect place for those looking for something uncomplicated that served hearty, authentic and well-crafted food and wine that was unpretentious but of the highest quality. It is more than a bar or restaurant, but like any proper bistro, it can be the hub of a community,” says Keller.

Thomas Castellon, chef de cuisine, formerly of The Surf Club Restaurant in Surfside and TAK Room in NYC, is partnering with Thomas Keller to make the dining experience at Bouchon a culinary journey. Finding inspiration from the community around them, the team behind Bouchon is creating the perfect balance: French flare steeped with rich South Florida history.
“To open this restaurant in a city where I spent the early days of my career feels like a homecoming celebration,” Castellon shares. “We’re excited to bring the community together to experience traditional French dishes showcasing exceptional ingredients of the highest execution.”
With an award-winning menu centered around serving classic French bistro dishes made with the best quality ingredients, diners can expect to savor delicious steak frites, roasted chicken, pate, and many more mouthwatering classics.
Honing in on captivating the dining experience with a comfortable atmosphere and impeccable dishes, Bouchon’s cocktail program elevates classic cocktails with French spirits. Carefully selecting their beverage offerings, the team behind Bouchon aims to recreate the lively atmosphere of Coral Gables with the lavish history of French culture.

Featuring a classic mosaic floor, a magnificent zinc bar, antique light fixtures and handpainted murals by French artist Paulin Paris, who has painted unique murals for each of chef Keller’s Bouchon and Bouchon Bakeries, the Coral Gables location draws on a heritage of the French surrealist movement but creating fresh and dynamic artwork subtly reflective of the restaurant environment. Designed with an ample indoor dining space, a separate private dining space, and a beautiful courtyard, Bouchon brings the French bistro to Miami’s historic neighborhood.
