An intimate, Spanish-inspired craft vermouth and natural wine bar has arrived in the heart of Coconut Grove. A Kush Hospitality Group (KHG) concept, Victoria’s Vinos y Vermuteria (VVV) takes over the space that once housed Kush’s milkshake shop and beer store, Vicky’s House.
Lauded as the first vermouth bar in South Florida, and launched in collaboration with Corporate Beverage Director Cristina Suarez, the space focuses on Spanish wines and ciders, large-format craft beers and an array of specialty and housemade vermouths (fortified wine with herbs and botanicals). For the perfect pairing, nibble on tapas-style small plates, charcuterie boards, chicken skins and sandwich de mescla, caviar, pan con tomate and more.

The ritualistic consumption of vermouth has been at the center of late afternoon and evening drinking for decades in Spain and other parts of Europe. Suarez is the first female industry professional to curate and launch a vermouth bar in the United States, bringing aperitif style to Miami.
Sip and savor two housemade vermouths: La Mila is warm, sweet and a product of 30 days of fermentation, and Titi Marie, which is light, floral and can be made and served after just an hour. Guests can also explore a handcurated list of natural wines and Spanish ciders poured in the Asturian style of long pouring to inject effervescence.

VVV is both a 25-person “waiting room” for next-door LoKal restaurant patrons and a date night destination all its own. Close your eyes and be transported across the Atlantic through an “Old World in a Modern Land” point of view, with muted green and red accents and Victorian-style design elements throughout.
Joining restaurateur Matthew “Kush’’ Kuscher’s eclectic portfolio of restaurants and bars, Victoria’s Vinos y Vermuteria is open Wednesday through Sunday from 5PM to close. 3190 Commodore Plaza, Coconut Grove, kushhospitality.com
