Chef Federico Tischler launches Well Fed eatery in the heart of Coral Gables, serving as a nod to modern Latin American cuisine. WELLFED_CHICKEN_AND_GREEN_SALAD_WITH_DIJON-LEMON_VINAIGRETTE_5.jpg

Chef Federico Tischler’s Venezuelan concept Well Fed is a bright and airy spot located in the heart of Coral Gables. The full-service restaurant showcases the variety of techniques and flavor combinations present in Venezuela’s national dishes and reflects the assortment of Latin American cuisines found in the South Florida community. Standouts include a swordfish escabeche—a traditional fisherman’s preparation of soft pickled and fried swordfish with seasonal vegetables and served with basmati rice—and the yellow curry and coconut milk-glazed lamb featuring a soft, unctuous braised lamb shank topped with rich sauce and served with basmati rice, greens and caramelized plantain. If you’re on the go, check out the prepared foods market with prepackaged, housemade Venezuelan staples. 271 Miracle Mile, Coral Gables, wellfedmiami.com
