Wild Encounters

| July 7, 2014 | Parties

To celebrate the launch of its Krug 2003 Vintage, company President and CEO Maggie Henriquez invited a select cross section of Krug-lovers and Miami VIPs for a night of glamping—albeit in Miami style. The Miami Beach Botanical Garden was transformed into a sophisticated campground with a safari tent overflowing with chilled bottles of Champagne ready for sampling. As guests—among them Carlos Rosso, Serge de Troyer, Barbara Becker, Criselda Breene and Suzy Buckley—moved through the garden with flutes in hand, they encountered campfire singalongs, African dance performances and hors d’oeuvres (including s’mores) by Le Basque. –Photography by World Red Eye
